WHY JOIN THE NETWORK?
By joining YALDA,
STUDENTS and all young people ages 18-30 in Africa and abroad gain access to an international database of individuals and organisations in an array of fields that can provide tools, resources, information, and advice for the role young people can play in African development. Youth members can search the network to find specific advice, information, professional contacts, career and internship opportunities, and possible sources of financial support for implementing their dream projects.
PROFESSIONALS around the world, in any field, and with a strong interest in Africa gain access to a network of hundreds of bright young leaders in African universities and communities, and can browse and search for profiles of innovative ground-level projects proposed by young people

WHY DO I HAVE TO REGISTER TO VIEW THE DATABASE?
Restricting our network to registered members is a way YALDA ensures the integrity and quality of our network, as well as the security of our members. By requiring members to agree to a set of responsibilities, YALDA ensures that only those with a strong commitment to YALDA's mission will be brought into direct contact with one another. Individual members reveal detailed descriptions of their projects, tips on internships and job openings, personal contact information, and offers for direct funding, all in the confidence that only YALDA members will have access to these postings, and that YALDA as an organisation oversees all such postings and interactions.
